Running for Pedicures

Today, I had the incentive of a pedicure to get me through my ten mile run. All along the way, I kept thinking about different outfits I could put together, which polish to chose, and what magazines I was going to pick up today!

Well, I went with my usual when it came to my outfit: something black and white, lavender for my toes, and Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour for magazines.

After dropping my son off at a birthday party, I trucked back to a nail salon to meet up with a friend for a much needed reunion of sorts. She's been busy with coaching, and as all friendships tend to do while unattended, ours had wilted into more being more of aquaintances instead of the friends we truly are. But, after one hour of being pampered, mimosas and white whine, we reconnected doing what girls do best: gossiping!

To top it off, I had fabulously fashioned nails at the end!

 If it could get any better than this, to top it off, Monday is a holiday and we have the day off! Happy Presidents day!
