The hubby has been hard at work ripping out carpet and laying down wood flooring. Our kitchen splits our house in half, and we had already laid flooring in the family room, den, and the boys room; however, the guest room needed to be done in order to have that half of the house all wood. So, since we were going that far, why not rip up all the carpet in the entire house? Sure, my husband enthusiastically agreed! (ok, so maybe it wasn't so enthusiastic, but he did agree) So, since Saturday afternoon, we have been busy. Mostly him, but I have been very domestic by feeding him, doing laundry, and trying to dust, sweep, and vacuum as he goes.
Oh, and did I mention how wonderful our neighbors are? Our friend Jared gave up basically his entire weekend to help Brandon under the condition that I keep my eyes on his little man. Could you say no to this face?
Also, our friend Corey came and pounded until 11 p.m. Saturday night. I think we will be hosting a dinner soon to show our appreciation!

The finished product put back together makes me SO happy! Now "Justin's room" as Cameron calls it, is ready to go for guests! Grandpa Paul, you better come for Easter now!
Moving on to the next space, Daddy has his best helper Cameron. Matthew and Cameron really did help as you need someone to put weight on the boards as you tap them together.

Another finished product! Doesn't it look great? Don't I have a stud of a husband to do all of this? He is currently napping to prepare to rip up the rest of the carpet in our bedroom and bathroom. He still has grad school homework, and then we will be working again. I'm one lucky woman!
